I currently have approximately 30 hours of use on my excavator, and overall it has performed very well. It offers strong power, and once you become accustomed to the sensitivity of the controls—particularly given its lighter weight, which can make it feel slightly jerky at times—it operates smoothly and efficiently.

I did experience a minor issue with a hydraulic fitting that was not sufficiently tightened, resulting in a small leak. In fairness to Duncar, I did not contact them regarding this, as arranging transport to a dealer and the associated downtime would have been more time-consuming and costly than addressing it myself. After completing the repair, I have not encountered any further issues.

There are a few minor areas for improvement. For example, a two-speed travel option or a slightly higher travel speed would be beneficial. Additionally, the placement of the light and horn controls could be reconsidered, as they are currently positioned in a way that makes accidental activation with my knees fairly common—though this is not a significant concern.

Another point to note is that the roll bar and roof assembly could be designed for easier folding or removal. I recently needed to operate the machine beneath a deck and found removing the roof assembly on my own to be somewhat challenging.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the machine and would not hesitate to purchase another. I am also looking forward to expanding my Duncar equipment lineup in the future, potentially with the addition of a mini skid.
