Arrived VERY fast in wooden crate. Zero assembly instructions provided or available online which was a bit strange, however it wasn't very complicated to figure out. Can be alone, but much easier to assemble with an extra set of hands as some of the components like the in-take shoot are quite heavy. Extremely heavy duty and rugged materials (very heavy gauge steel, large rugged tires, etc.) which I was and am a big fan of given the type of work you'll be throwing at it. No oil was provided which would have been a nice touch. Once assembled, gas and oil added, it started right up. In-take shoot runs very well and the cutter does a good job pulling most branches in with minimal pushing required. Larger branches in the 4-5" diameter range does require some finessing/pacing depending on the species to prevent stalling, but it definitely has sufficient power to plow through most materials. Again, a bit of careful pacing required for the larger 4-5" material, but totally manageable. Used it 2X so far for about 2-3 hours each time. No issues. Very happy with my first Ducar purchase! Would definitely recommend.

Everything is perfect but I would really have appreciated an instruction manual for self-assembly. Not that it's hypercomplicated but a manual with images of a couple of pages would have make it a 5 stars review. Ditch the uni-hand gloves in coton and put a manual in instead... It will be much more appreciated by users i'm sure.

I have received and assembled my B1500E-HD wood chipper.. delivery was incredibly fast, and assembly was quite easy.
This chipper looks to have excellent build quality and looks heavy duty.
I had some questions and found customer service and response time exceptional!
Unfortunately our winter temperatures have already dropped to -15 so I probably won't get to try it out until it warms up.
I have full confidence that I will not be disappointed. I will update my review when I get it to the woods.
