Set this up on a trailer I built myself. I put it together myself, which, together with levelling, took about 8 hours. I cut about 35 logs with it over the past few weekends, and the boards it makes are beautiful. Beats a chainsaw mill hands down! It's also really good on gasoline, I can easily go a full day on one tank of fuel.
The one reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 star is that the idler pulley wasn't properly aligned out of the box, which caused the drive belt to ride up on the rim and get torn up. I had to replace the drive belt and put a thick washer behind the idler to get all the pulleys in line. A B1772 belt as listed in the manual is too short. The correct size is a 5/8"x71" (B68/5L710).
The other thing I'm not crazy about is the location of the engine oil drain plug. It's hard to drain the oil without getting oil all over the mill. I might go and install a couple fittings to make the process less messy.

Tip: if it's going to freeze after milling, especially if there is rain in the forecast, make sure to blow ALL sawdust out of the mill and flush the water tank with either RV or windshield washer antifreeze! Wet, frozen sawdust is extremely hard and will jam the mill up.

Acheté le moulin le 17 mai et prit réception chez Lacasse à St-Anselme. Très heureux de l'achat. Pour une personne qui désire utiliser le boisnsur sa terre c'est parfait sans trop casser la tirelire.

Ce soir je recherchais plus d'information et j'ai tenter le service en ligne de Ducar...wow ils ont répondu immédiatement à mes questions ... même s'il est 22h.

Service hors paire pour outil de plus grande qualité que ce que j'espérais.
